Enrique Iglesias or the king of Latin pop as he is sometimes referred to in the media is a Spanish singer and songwriter.
The forty-two-year-old started his career in the mid-1990s and has since morphed into one of the biggest stars in Latin American and America itself.
Enrique Iglesias has sold over 159 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling Spanish artists ever.
His glittering career which has spanned two decades so far is littered with a host of seeming unbeatable achievements.
The singer has scored over 150 number-one hits across all of the Billboard charts.
He has had five Billboard Hot 100 top five singles, including two number-ones.
He also holds the singular record of having had 27 number-one Spanish-language singles on the Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks.
Unlike many successful celebrity figures who never quite manage to get a handle on their love lives, Enrique has been able to do just start.
In late 2001, the singer and songwriter started dating Russian tennis player Anna Kournikova.
The pair have since been together for sixteen years barring a minor glitch which occurred in the form of a split in 2013.
The couple have since reconciled and have since taken their relationship to the next rung on the ladder of commitment.
Perhaps, Enrique and Anna’s recipe for success is to keep their relationship private as nothing is known of their personal lives.
That was why it was such a huge surprise for the world when the pair announced that Anna had delivered fraternal twins in December.
Apparently she gave birth to twins Nicholas and Lucy at the South Miami Hospital on December 16, 2017. Some four weeks after announcing the news, the first time couple put up the first pictures of their bundles of joy.
On Tuesday, the couple revealed a different twin to their twelve million combined Instagram followers.
Enrique posted a picture of himself nuzzling a toddler who was asleep.
The doting father and his child were dressed alike in matching grey patterns.
The sleeping child was dressed for warmth and comfort in a onesie, socks, and beanie, matching the former with the hood pulled up.
Former tennis ace Anna meanwhile posted a picture of her with a wide-awake toddler sitting in her arms.
The first time mother gave her child a loving kiss on the next as she cradled her baby’s head.
Neither parent specified whether the respective stars of their photo was son Nicholas or daughter Lucy.
And with the children being barely four-weeks-old, it was impossible to tell.
The pair are reportedly enjoying this new stage of their relationship with sources even saying that they might be getting married soon.
Enrique’s mom Isabel Preysler told Hola! magazine in December,
‘Enrique is extraordinarily happy in these moments’.
Sometime last year, there was extensive speculation that the pair had tied the knot in secret.
The speculation started after Anna was spotted with a large diamond ring and matching eternity band on her wedding finger.
However, in an interview this past summer, Enrique revealed that despite the length of time they’ve been together, he and Moscow-born beauty Anna had no immediate plans to get married.
Despite never winning a singles title, Kournikova reached No. 8 in the world in 2000 but was forced to end her pro career prematurely due to a back injury, at the age of 21.
She works as an occasional tennis trainer now.
Kournikova also serves as a Global Ambassador for Population Services International’s ‘Five & Alive’ program.
