Corey Dunlop was saddened to hear that his 92-year-old grandma, Miriam, would have to miss his wedding day.
But that all changed when Miriam revealed that she would be able to attend the ceremony. The 28-year-old Sydney resident captured the slew of heartfelt moments they shared together throughout his big day.
Corey has a small family, and his mother passed away a few years ago. So he was beyond happy to find a local company that offers transportation for family members who need rides to and from monumental events.
Throughout the ceremony, Grandma Miriam made sure that she was the life of the party. “Nan has a cracking sense of humour and usually has all of the nurses at her retirement village in stitches,” Corey said. “So it’s no surprise that she had everyone in hysterics on the day and was up to mischief.”
At the end of the day, Corey could not have been happier to have his nan at his wedding. Even more, it was great to capture their most beautiful moments on camera. “Having my nan there was such an overwhelming emotion which caused many tears of joy and heartfelt embraces, knowing how special this moment was.”
